Webinar - AI for Justice

27.4.23

The webinar aims to introduce the Israeli public to the interesting project, carried out by The Office of Legal Services Innovation Utah Supreme Court - a project that redefines the legal profession. the project offers a regulatory sandbox, which is a sort of a lab to examine providing legal services by non-lawyers. Such approach, supervised by the court, allows testing innovating systems for access to justice, on the one hand, and manage risks, on the other hand.
The project is already expending. What about Israel?
In a joint webinar, JustLaw Israel and The Chief Justice Meir Shamgar Center for Digital Law and Innovation, The Buchmann Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv University, hosted Sue Crismon, Executive Director of The Office of Legal Services Innovation, to learn how the project works.
Adv. Yair Gardin, Israel Ministry of Justice, portrayed the current status in Israel, concerning these matters.
Adv. Amit Ashkenazi, Research Fellow at the Shamgar Center, discussed the risks and potential in incorporating technology in promoting access to justice.
