Adv. Tamar Tavory

Tamar Tavory is a PHD candidate in the law faculty in Bar Ilan University focusing on regulating artificial intelligence in health care. She works as a special counsel in Arnon, Tadmor-Levy law firm focusing on healthcare law, artificial intelligence, medical data, clinical trials and innovative medical technology. Tamar also teaches in a graduate degree program at the Faculty of Management at Tel Aviv University.

Tamar had a notable career in the Israel Defense Forces. Tamar served as deputy head of the Legal Counsel and Legislative Affairs department in the Military Advocate General’s Corps, and as the head legal advisor for the Medical Corps. Her rank is Lieutenant Colonel (ret.).

Tamar received her LLB (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University, LLM (cum laude) from The Judge Advocate General’s School, United States Army, Charlottesville, Virginia, and her M.A. in Literature (with thesis, cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.
