The Chief Justice Meir Shamgar Center for Digital Law and Innovation at the Buchmann Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv University, will soon hold its annual lecture in honor of Chief Justice (ret.) Meir Shamgar.

We are pleased to welcome Prof. danah boyd (Cornell University), one of the most influential voices in the study of technology, information, and society.

Her lecture,
“Avoiding Traps, Tracking Decoys: The Political Economy of AI,”
will offer an in-depth look at the political economy of artificial intelligence and its broader implications for democracy, governance, and societal resilience. The lecture will be followed by an expert panel discussing the Israeli context.
